Oooog i just got to read BLAME! by tsutomu nihei a few days ago... it's killer! The bgs are all stupendous, chara designs really cool, the overall atmosphere dark and at times a bit depressing if i say so myself. >___> But it's not angsty at all. Full of action and the plot just keeps going n going.

Well anyways. It's not really a fanart, even tho it looks somewhat like Killy.... make that alot like Killy. However killy don't got no wire sticking out of his neck. :P I tried to do a cool complicated bg like the Great Nihei, but it turned out messy n abstract.

Used this for the new layout for my site in the end... i just have way too little drawings to choose from. XP

Great job! Nice contrast between the foreground figure and the sketchy background. I really like it. Pose is good, too... the gun doesn't quite look right, but in such a quick sketch, it doesn't really matter.

LOve the background... very detailed despite the sketchy nature.

duuude I saw the thumbnail and I was all, looks like it's from BLAME, and it was XD (or 'inspired' by BLAME, whatever.) haven't read that manga in a while...

Haha, that's a great background, lots of detail. I can never seem to force myself to get enough inspiration to do backgrounds like that (if a background at all, haha), but you've pulled it off very nicely! The guy also looks really, really good, nice pose. Your details are great, not just in the background, but in his clothing and on the gun. Very, very nice. :heart:
