This is one of the few pieces i've drawn that actually look like the idea i had in my head. Which is why i'm quite happy with it. There's some errors still, like in the foot and, more obviously, the face.
First time practising shading in detail, and it was pretty fun! Hopefully i'll be able to shade more pieces like that. First time's always a fluke! X(
The feet and the faces are some of the hardest parts of a body to draw, so you're forgiven. ^^ (You nailed the hands quite well~) He reminds me of Goujo Sanzo from Saiyuki, yup. *Nodds* The gun could look better, but I'm speaking simply from a viewer's POV. (My guns are just blobs. X3;; ) The shading makes this piece exceptionally beautiful. Great job, keep it up!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
